This contemporary home required planning permission for floor to ceiling heights and required management of issues relating to flood flow paths through the site. Building dispensations were also required for the cylindrical staircase, the architectural feature of this building.
We worked closely with Council to ensure that there was an understanding of the architectural intent of the building and ultimately the dwelling was supported by Council’s planning and building departments, Melbourne Water and local residents.
