As this site is affected by a Heritage Overlay, a planning permit was required to demolish the rear part of the existing dwelling and the existing garage.  A planning permit was also required for the proposed alterations and additions to the rear of the dwelling and the construction of a new garage.  The proposed alterations and additions provided an additional 50 square metres of floor area to the rear of the dwelling, to include a new kitchen and larger living and dining areas.

Our Company was appointed to manage / streamline the planning process.  We were successful in convincing Council of the planning merits of the proposal and that the application did not need to be advertised, allowing a planning permit to be issued in a timely manner.
