Obtaining approval for a luxury two storey home with a large roof deck on a small beachside lot in Black Rock has its planning challenges, particularly when it comes to getting the right balance between large open plan living areas with high ceilings and avoiding unreasonable amenity impacts to sensitive areas of adjoining properties. We are pleased to have successfully managed the planning permit application for a single dwelling development that does just that.
The clever design by Crowhurst Building Design and our negotiations with Council resulted in not having to compromise on the spacious floor areas, large beach-facing balcony and extensive roof deck, which has a fully enclosed access stair.
We are looking forward to visiting the finished development in the future and enjoying the spectacular views from the roof deck in person.
