Project Type: Building dispensations associated with the construction of a double storey dwelling with a basement car park
Council: Bayside City Council.
Architect: Martin Friedrich Architects

A planning permit was not required for a single dwelling due to the size of the subject site, however this large double storey dwelling with basement car park required a number of dispensations under the siting requirements contained within the Building Regulations.

This contemporary designed dwelling sought variations to the front and side setback requirements as well as a dispensation for a 1.8 metre high front fence.

The application included detailed justification on the variations and subsequently Council supported the reduced front and side setbacks and the high front fence
